Help & FAQ

Optimus Fantasy Help Center

Set up the browser extension, sync your league, run the live draft helper, and get the most out of every Optimus tool. If you can't find what you need, email team@optimusfantasy.com.

Getting started

Optimus Fantasy is built around three pieces that work together:

  1. An account at tools.optimusfantasy.com — where every tool, dashboard and report lives.
  2. The Optimus browser extension — reads your league config from your fantasy host (Yahoo, ESPN, etc.) and pushes it into your Optimus account.
  3. The live draft helper — activates automatically when you open a supported draft room (Sleeper, ESPN, MFL).

Quick start (under 5 minutes)

  1. Create an account or sign in at tools.optimusfantasy.com.
  2. Install the Optimus extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  3. Sign in to your fantasy platform (Yahoo, ESPN, etc.) in the same browser.
  4. Open the extension and click Sync League.
  5. Visit the Leagues page in your Optimus account — your league is now ready for trades, lineups, reports and the draft helper.

Browser extension

The Optimus extension is the bridge between your fantasy host and your Optimus tools. It runs in your browser and uses your existing fantasy-site session — you never enter passwords into the extension.

What it does

  • Reads league settings (scoring, slots, roster size, TE-premium, superflex, IDP) directly from the host site.
  • Pulls rosters, schedules and waiver state.
  • Surfaces an overlay on the host site with PV / DR, projections and an Optimus league grade.
  • Powers the live draft helper on Sleeper, ESPN and MFL.

Installation

  1. Install from the Chrome Web Store (works on Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers).
  2. Pin the Optimus icon to your toolbar for quick access.
  3. Sign in once at tools.optimusfantasy.com — the extension uses that session to identify your account.

Permissions explained

  • cookies, activeTab — reads your existing fantasy-host session on the page you're viewing.
  • storage — caches league config and settings locally.
  • scripting — injects the league overlay and draft helper on supported pages.

The extension only activates on whitelisted fantasy host domains. It never reads pages on unrelated sites.

League sync (8 platforms)

League sync supports every major host. The flow is the same for each: open the league in your browser, click the extension, and hit Sync.

Yahoo

Open your league at fantasy.yahoo.com, then sync.

ESPN

Open your league at fantasy.espn.com, then sync. Private leagues supported via your session.

Sleeper

Open sleeper.com or sleeper.app, navigate to your league, then sync.

CBS Sports

Open your league on cbssports.com, then sync.

Fantrax

Open your league on fantrax.com, then sync.

NFL.com

Open your NFL.com Fantasy league, then sync.

MyFantasyLeague

Open your MFL league home, then sync. MFL uses the public API where available.

Fleaflicker

Open your league at fleaflicker.com, then sync.

What gets synced

  • League scoring (PPR / half / standard, TE-premium bonuses, IDP scoring).
  • Starting slots and bench size.
  • Format (redraft, keeper, dynasty, best-ball).
  • Teams, owners, rosters.
  • Schedule and standings.
  • Waiver state where the host exposes it.

Re-syncing

Run a sync any time the league changes (trade, waiver, roster move, schedule update). Optimus reuses the same league record, so historical grades and reports stay attached.

Live draft helper

The draft helper activates automatically when you open a supported draft room. Currently supported: Sleeper, ESPN, and MyFantasyLeague. Yahoo, CBS and Fantrax draft rooms are on the roadmap.

What it shows

  • PV (Projected Value) — season-long fantasy value under your specific league settings.
  • DR (Draft Recommendation) — PV adjusted for positional scarcity, your existing roster, ADP fall risk, and the picks until your next selection.
  • Best available board — ranked by DR and filterable by position.
  • Your roster construction — slot-by-slot view of what you've drafted versus what your league requires.
  • Pick clock and live picks feed — so the helper keeps up with the room in real time.

Mock drafts

Mock drafts on Sleeper are fully supported. Because mock drafts sometimes don't expose a user identity, the overlay includes a manual My Team picker so you can tell the helper which slot is yours.

Customizing the overlay

The overlay is draggable and resizable. Position it wherever fits your draft monitor — its location is remembered for next time.

Tools overview

Every tool runs against your synced league settings.

Trade analyzer

Two- and three-plus-team trade grades, with full fairness, roster-fit and dynasty context. Supports redraft and dynasty.

Mock draft simulator

Practice runs against the same engine that powers the live draft helper. Supports any scoring, slot configuration and league size.

Player database

Per-player pages with stats, projections, injury history, depth chart context, schedule and Optimus PV / DR. Public player pages are crawlable and shareable.

Rankings & ADP

Rankings and ADP tools for redraft, dynasty, devy and rookie boards. Filterable by scoring format.

Devy & prospect research

College prospect database with NFL projection signals. Used by devy leagues during the season and rookie drafters in the spring.

Reports

Weekly start/sit and matchup reports, plus full-season retros after the league is decided.

Betting dashboard

Market context that helps with start/sit calls (implied team totals, spreads, props) — not a sportsbook, just a context layer.

Dynasty values

League-specific dynasty values that adjust for superflex, TE-premium and roster size — not a generic one-size-fits-all dynasty board.

Account & billing

Plans

See current plans at /plans. Plans are themed (Free Agent, Rookie, Veteran, GM, All-Pro, Gold Jacket) and gate access to specific tools, data depth and league limits.

Changing or canceling a plan

Manage billing from your account page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues through that period.

Refunds

If something is broken on our end, email team@optimusfantasy.com and we'll make it right.

Privacy & security

  • The extension never asks for your fantasy-site password and never stores credentials.
  • League sync uses your existing browser session on each fantasy host. Credentials never touch our servers.
  • Optimus stores only what's needed to run the tools you use: league config, rosters, your account details.
  • You can request account or league deletion at any time by emailing support.

Full policy: Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

Extension doesn't see my league

  • Make sure you're signed in to the fantasy host in the same browser profile.
  • Open the league page directly (not the home dashboard) and try Sync again.
  • Reload the host page once after installing the extension so content scripts attach.

Draft helper isn't tracking picks

  • Confirm the draft room is open in an active tab. The poller pauses on background tabs after a while.
  • Refresh the draft room once. The helper re-attaches on document_idle.
  • For mock drafts, use the manual My Team picker — mock drafts don't always expose a user identity.

Recommendations look off (wrong format)

  • Make sure the league is fully synced. Scoring, superflex slot and TE-premium bonus are detected from your sync.
  • If the draft started in a brand-new league, re-sync once the host finalizes settings.

Recently drafted player is still in my board

  • The helper deduplicates picks on every poll. If a player lingers, refresh the page once.
  • If it persists, email support with the league or draft URL — usually a host-side data shape we haven't normalized yet.

Frequently asked questions

What is Optimus Fantasy?
Optimus Fantasy is a fantasy football analytics platform with tools for trade analysis, mock drafting, dynasty values, rankings, ADP, devy / college prospect research, redraft and dynasty reports, and a live draft helper. The site supports redraft, dynasty, keeper, best-ball, superflex, TE-premium and IDP leagues across all major host platforms.
Which fantasy platforms does Optimus support?
The Optimus browser extension and league sync support Yahoo Fantasy, ESPN Fantasy, CBS Sports, Fantrax, NFL.com Fantasy, MyFantasyLeague (MFL), Sleeper and Fleaflicker. Once a league is synced, every Optimus tool — trade analyzer, lineup optimizer, report builder, league dashboard — works against your real roster, schedule and scoring settings.
How do I install the Optimus browser extension?
Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store, sign in to your fantasy platform of choice in the same browser, then click the Optimus icon and use Sync to pull your league. The extension reads your league configuration directly from the host site — no manual entry required.
Is the live draft helper supported on every platform?
The live draft helper currently supports Sleeper, ESPN, and MyFantasyLeague (MFL) drafts. It auto-detects when you open a draft room, builds a shadow draft against the Optimus projection engine, and surfaces PV (Projected Value) and DR (Draft Recommendation) for each available player in real time.
What are PV and DR?
PV (Projected Value) is the engine’s estimate of a player’s season-long fantasy contribution under your specific league settings. DR (Draft Recommendation) blends PV with positional scarcity, your current roster composition, ADP fall risk, and the picks between your slots. The two together drive the live draft helper’s recommendations.
How is Optimus different from other fantasy tools?
Optimus is 100% deterministic — every projection, grade and recommendation is reproducible from the same inputs. It also reads your real league settings (scoring, slots, roster size, TE-premium, superflex, IDP) rather than assuming a default 12-team PPR, so the same player can have a very different PV / DR across two of your own leagues.
Does Optimus support dynasty and best-ball leagues?
Yes. Dynasty rosters, rookie drafts, devy / college prospect research, and best-ball portfolios are first-class. Dynasty values, ADP, and devy boards have dedicated tools. Best-ball lineup math is handled inside the lineup optimizer and the draft helper.
Is the data current?
Player stats, injuries, news, ADP, and projections are refreshed on automated schedules through the NFL season and off-season. Injury status is updated multiple times daily during the season. Sleeper player catalog, league configurations and live draft picks pull from the host platform in real time.
Does Optimus collect or sell my fantasy account credentials?
No. The extension never asks for or stores your fantasy site password. It uses your existing browser session on each host (cookies you set when you logged in) to read league data, and only sends the league configuration and rosters back to Optimus. Your credentials never touch our servers.
How do I contact support?
Email team@optimusfantasy.com for any account, billing, extension or tool issue. Include the league URL and platform when reporting a sync issue — it makes diagnosis dramatically faster.
